Steve Norris steps down from BNP Paribas RE board

Steve Norris has stepped-down as non-executive chairman of BNP Paribas Real Estate Advisory UK to take on the role of senior advisor.

The move comes after the re-organisation of the board, following the merger with Strutt & Parker.

Norris, who was appointed to the board in 2013, also served as a Conservative Member of Parliament for 14 years.

Andy Martin, CEO of BNP Paribas Real Estate Advisory UK, said: “We are delighted that Steve Norris has agreed to remain as an adviser to the newly enlarged business and we are sure that his advice and guidance will continue to be of use to us in the years ahead.”

Norris said: “I have hugely enjoyed my time as non-executive chairman of BNP Paribas Real Estate in the UK and I’m very much looking forward to working with the new team led by Andy Martin and the UK advisory board to help make a success of its recent merger with Strutt & Parker.”
