CBRE GI bolsters logistics team
CBRE Global Investors has appointed Laurie Lagarde as logistics portfolio manager, responsible for overseeing its strategy in continental Europe.

Lagarde will oversee the performance of pooled funds, including the European Industrial Fund, a perpetual fund with assets in France, Germany, Benelux, Iberia and Italy.

Prior to joining GBRE GI, Lagarde was vice president and transactions officer at Prologis for seven years, responsible for transactions in southern Europe.

Lagarde previously worked as project manager at AMB and before this was head of purchasing in the UK for Bouygues.

Pierre-David Baylac, fund manager of logistics funds at CBRE GI, said: “It’s fantastic that Laurie Lagarde will join us as portfolio manager for our logistics funds. Logistics is an important asset class in our firm and we are keen to invest in talent to further expand on our expertise in this field.”

Lagarde said: “It is a new challenge and I’m excited to join a company which shares the same ambitions as me. Having worked in logistics and real estate for over the last 16 years, I look forward to building on my experience to help the company manage and invest in more successful logistics assets across Europe.”
