AXA IM Real Assets name new global head of client capital
Charles Daulon du Laurens has been promoted to global head of client capital group at AXA IM - Real Assets.

Laurens will lead the new client capital group, comprising of investor relations professionals across Asia, North America and Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

He will be responsible for client relationship management and capital raising across the AXA IM - Real Assets product range, including equity and debt offerings.

Joining the firm in 2012 as head of investor relations, Laurens has overseen an increase in third-party capital of more than €7.5 billion since December 2014, according to AXA IM - Real Assets.

Prior to join AXA IM - Real Assets, Laurens was director of solutions and financing group at UBS and has spent time at Lehman Brothers and Morgan Stanley.

The move follows the recent departure of Dennis Lopez as global chief investment officer from AXA IM - Real Assets, who joined QuadReal Property Group as CEO.
