He was previously CEO of SUN Real Estate and prior to this spent 18 years at J.P. Morgan as managing director.

Those who report to Lopez at AXA IM - Real Assets will now report directly to CEO Isabelle Scemama.

Scemama, said: “We are fortunate that, with Dennis Lopez’s support, we have built a strong and highly professional team that will seamlessly pick up the reins from him, ensuring our clients continue to receive strong investment performance and first class service.”

Lopez said: “After eight highly stimulating and successful years at AXA IM – Real Assets and having been offered a unique challenge in a new role where I will be located closer to home in North America, I have made the difficult decision to leave AXA IM - Real Assets.”
