Barings appoints Lehtinen to support Nordic growth
Barings Real Estate Advisers has named Lotta Lehtinen as associate director for asset management in Finland.

The appointment follows that of Göran Bengtsson who joined as head of the Nordics in October last year, to support the company’s growth in the region.

Lehtinen, who will be based in Helsinki, will support the ongoing development of the company’s asset management projects in Finland and the rest of the Nordics. She will report to Bengtsson.

Bengtsson said: “Lehtinen has a proven track record of devising, overseeing and implementing often complex asset management programmes and we are very pleased to have her join the team.”

Charles Weeks, head of real estate for Europe at Barings, added: “Increasing our local expertise as we further develop our European platform is crucial to ensuring our continued success in important markets like the Nordics, which has robust economic credentials and a well-positioned real estate market.”
